Four members of Boy Scout Troop 555 were given their Eagle Scout badges and Eagle pin during a ceremony Tuesday at the VFW Hall in Nogales.
The new Eagle Scouts are Sebastian Aguirre, David Barraza, Vicente Gonzalez and Miguel A. Rivera, Jr. All are 18-year-old seniors at Nogales High School.
For his Eagle Scout project, Aguirre built a ramada at the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Cruz County in Nogales. Barraza paved the patio at the VFW and installed a fireplace for use in disposing old U.S. flags.
Gonzalez built walkways at the Las Lagunas de Anza natural area in Nogales and conducted a science project. Rivera cleaned an area in Madera Canyon and planted native flowers to help attract pollinators like bees.
